A Public health professional with 13 years’ experience as middle and senior Manager in well respectable organizations (EngenderHealth, UNICEF –Malawi, Voluntary Services Overseas International, Concern Worldwide and Family Planning Association of Malawi). Vast experience in the areas of health systems strengthening, maternal, neonatal and child health, nutrition, sexual reproductive health, HIV/AIDS , Gender and prevention and response for gender based violence for women and girls. Amongst others, Temwa is experienced in social norms change & behavioral change communication, community mobilization, capacity building, health systems strengthening, human resource management, and donor relations management. Vast experience in planning and conducting baseline studies, needs assessment and impact evaluations for both qualitative and quantitative studies. She has vast knowledge and experience in facilitating community action through various methodologies as follows: participatory rural appraisal, participatory learning and action, participatory capacity assessment, and appreciative inquiry. Temwa is fluent in English, Chichewa and Tumbuka.
